Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreo

I'm not usually one to go gaga over desserts at a cook-out, but man...there is something tasty about a good slice of chocolate peanut butter pie. The creaminess of the peanut butter, the richness of the chocolate, and the crumbly graham cracker crust all make for a great bite. Apparently I'm not alone with this feeling, because our bff's at Nabisco have decided to release Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreo.

Taste Test:

Initial Smell: From the moment I opened this package and put it to my nose, I knew I wasn't going to weigh myself in the morning (diets be damned). The smell leaps out of the package and makes you instantly salivate. I wonder if there is a Guinness World Record for consuming a package of Oreo in record time?

Whole Cookie: Welp, I'm in trouble...my predictions were correct and these are amazing. The graham cracker wafer is the perfect texture and the peanut butter is, well anything put short of mind-blowing. Chocolate seems to take a backseat to the graham cracker and peanut butter, which is perfectly fine. Usually with Oreo it seems they go all chocolate crazy, so I like that this is a subtle flavor.

Half Cookie: This helps bring the chocolate flavor through a little more and I do enjoy this (still not the usual "Oh look at me, I'm another chocolate cookie!"). The whole cookie is great, but this makes everything way more creamier and pie like. Side note: You're a fool if you think I didn't eat that "discarded" wafer, though.

Creme Only: Do you enjoy shoveling hundreds of calories into your pie hole as quickly as possible? Well, then you're lucky they don't sell tubs of this heaven. The chocolate to peanut butter ratio is perfect. There is a bit of a saltiness that is really great.

Overall: Why does Nabisco keep pushing me to decide which flavor I like the most? This flavor is easily in my top 5 (don't ask me to name them...I don't know lol). This reminds me a lot of the Nutter Butter Oreo, but with chocolate. My husband and I may have already finished a sleeve of these (okay, we have nearly finished two). Also, this is the first cookie I really wish I had milk for...I think that would be absolutely mind-blowing.
